Jeffrey S. Young

Jeff is a civil litigator licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington. He has experience in all areas of litigation, including arbitrations, mediations, negotiations, discovery, pre-trial motions and trial practice. Jeff practices primarily in the area of medical malpractice defense. With a family full of physicians, it was natural for Jeff to devote a large portion of his legal practice to defending them.
Jeff also practices in the area of professional liability defense and has a wealth of expertise in the areas of creditor’s rights, commercial litigation and construction law. Jeff has represented general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in various construction disputes, lien and bond claims, and in the analysis and enforcement of contract rights. Jeff has also been a co-presenter at numerous seminars and has co-authored materials on construction lien and bond law in Oregon and Washington.
He received his J.D. from University of Oregon School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, majoring in political science. Jeff is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and the Multnomah Bar Association.
