Founded in 1938 as a local litigation firm, Lindsay Hart evolved in the 1970's and 1980's into a full service regional firm, attracting an exceptional array of legal talent. Distinguished alumni include an Oregon Supreme Court Justice, four members of the Oregon Court of Appeals and three Circuit Court judges on the court of general trial jurisdiction in Portland. The firm has produced five presidents of the Oregon State Bar and two winners of the E.B. McNaughton Award for distinguished service, as well as the 2007 winner of the prestigious MBA Professionalism Award. Former firm attorneys also include members of the Oregon Senate, the Oregon House of Representatives and the United States Congress, as well as professors at various law schools.
