Jay has over 20 years experience representing clients in federal and state courts and administrative forums. He specializes in insurance law , products liability , employment related law and appeals. Jay has handled numerous appeals in the Oregon, Washington and federal courts of appeals. He is past chair of the Products Liability Section of the Oregon State Bar and a past member of the Oregon State Bar Uniform Civil Jury Instruction Committee. He has written and lectured extensively on subjects including motion practice in Oregon, insurance law, products liability and punitive damages. Jay is admitted to practice in all Oregon and Washington courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Jay received his law degree magna cum laude from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis and Clark College.
