Kathryn Beaubien

Kathryn's specialties are Federal regulatory policy, Congressional appropriations and Corps of Engineers dredging issues. Her responsibilities include monitoring and analysis of Federal regulation and legislation; drafting and advocating for legislation; developing briefing materials and lobbying strategies; lobbying Capitol Hill and the Executive Agencies; interaction with business coalitions; and public speaking engagements on trade and transportation issues. On behalf of various maritime interests, she has successfully lobbied for Federal appropriations before the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on Energy & Water; Military Construction; Agriculture, Rural Development and Related Agencies; Commerce, Justice, State and Judiciary; and Transportation. She is intimately familiar with the issues surrounding dredging (maintenance and new construction) and dredged material disposal issues. She advises numerous consumer products companies on restricted substance policy and legal restrictions in the US, Europe and Asia and other regulatory issues. Kathryn is a graduate of the prestigious Echols Scholars program at the University of Virginia, where she graduated With Honors in 1990.
