Hannah Hemry

Hannah K. Hemry represents businesses and professionals in commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on claims arising from real estate transactions. Her experience includes defending real estate brokers and brokerage firms, as well as representing buyers, sellers, tenants, and other parties involved in residential and commercial real estate matters. For more than a decade, she has maintained an active practice in the Portland metro area and beyond, advising and defending clients throughout Oregon and Washington.

Hannah represents a variety of clients across industries in all aspects of commercial, construction, and real estate litigation and supports the firm’s transportation practice, bringing a practical, business-oriented approach to every engagement.

Hannah began her legal career in commercial litigation at a large international law firm in Kansas City, Missouri, where she represented businesses in complex disputes. By combining thorough factual investigation with strategic legal analysis, she established a record of resolving claims efficiently—whether through early negotiation, motion practice or successful outcomes at the summary judgment stage. After relocating to the Pacific Northwest, she continued in private practice before serving as general counsel for a major regional real estate brokerage. This in-house experience gives her a unique understanding of the legal and business issues facing real estate professionals. In addition to defending brokers and sellers when disputes arise, Hannah works proactively with clients to identify and mitigate risk, navigate evolving real estate laws, and implement practices that reduce the likelihood of claims and litigation.

Outside of the office, Hannah enjoys taking advantage of all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, including hiking, paddleboarding, and skiing with her husband and two daughters. Most weekends, however, she can be found on a field or in a gym coaching and cheering on her daughters in softball, volleyball, and soccer.
