Jeff is a trial attorney with a proven record of success in all aspects of civil litigation and has tried many cases in both Oregon and Washington. Coming from a family full of physicians, Jeff has unique insight into the defense of physicians and other health care providers in medical malpractice and healthcare licensing cases. Jeff also represents businesses and companies in complex commercial disputes and contract drafting and negotiation, and brings significant experience and strategic insight to protecting his clients.
Jeff is a native Oregonian and a proud “Double Duck,” with law and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Oregon. Jeff is a member of numerous professional organizations, and has authored or contributed to several publications including the “The Verdict,” a publication of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and Oregon Statutory Time Limitations, a joint publication of the Professional Liability Fund and the Oregon State Bar. He is active in bar leadership and served as a member of the House of Delegates (2016-2019), which aids in the governance of the Oregon State Bar. He served as Chair (2019) of the Uniform Civil Jury Instructions Committee, which develops jury instructions for use in civil trials, and is currently serving a four-year term on the Council on Court Procedures, which is the Oregon public body that creates, reviews, and amends the rules of practice and procedure for all Oregon circuit courts. He is also active in firm leadership and serves on Lindsay Hart's Management Committee.

When he is not practicing law, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his sons in youth sports, volunteering at their school, cooking, and cheering on the Oregon Ducks.
