John Barr

John Barr is an associate attorney with a litigation practice in Oregon and Washington. He represents clients in a variety of matters involving professional malpractice, health professional board licensing, and general litigation. Prior to joining Lindsay Hart, John was with a law firm in the Portland-area where he defended clients in lawsuits involving products liability, personal injury, wrongful death, construction defects, and professional liability.

John is a Florida native who lives in Portland. He attended the University of South Florida, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics. He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude at the Florida State University College of Law. After law school, John served as Assistant General Counsel with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, where he handled a broad range of legal matters involving administrative law, litigation, contract negotiation and drafting, agency rulemaking, bid disputes, legislative affairs, and more.

Beyond practicing law, John enjoys time in the mountains with his three dogs, Kona, Lupo, and Remington.
