Katie Eichner focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice and general litigation. While focusing on professional malpractice, Katie defends all types of civil litigation and has experience with employment discrimination, business disputes, personal injury defense, motor vehicle accidents, contract disputes, and even civil assault and battery. She has defended a varied number of tort claims on behalf of her clients, recently achieving a defense verdict in a medical malpractice trial. Katie also has experience in creditor’s rights, including representing creditors in bankruptcy courts.

Katie began her practice at a large, Pacific Northwest regional law firm, where she specialized in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and commercial litigation before joining Lindsay Hart in 2011.

Katie received her law degree from Stanford Law School in 2009. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Classics, with honors, from Stanford University. Katie is a member of the Oregon Bar Association. Katie served on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel from 2017-2019. Katie is currently President of the Oregon Society Healthcare Risk Managers.

Katie was selected by her peers to appear on the Oregon Super Lawyer list as a Rising Star every year from 2012 through 2020. This honor is only given to lawyers with outstanding professional achievements, who are under 40 and have been practicing under 10 years.
