Lauren Barnes

Lauren's primary practice areas focus on medical malpractice and long-term care facility defense. Prior to Lindsay Hart, Lauren gained several years of experience in a variety of practice areas, including insurance defense, workers' compensation defense, personal injury, and family law. This breadth of experience has engrained a passion for diving into difficult and often complex legal issues in order to successfully navigate clients through the legal process with the best possible outcome. Lauren is licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Originally from Colorado, Lauren graduated from Colorado State University in 2013 with a double major in Political Science and International Studies. Deciding she needed a change in climate, Lauren went on to Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where she received her law degree in 2017. While in law school, Lauren was the vice president of the Moot Court Board, an executive editor of the Willamette Journal of International Dispute Resolution, and a teaching assistant for legal researching and writing. During her second and third years of law school, Lauren clerked for the Marion County District Attorney's Office, where she gained invaluable trial experience. 

In her free time, Lauren enjoys baking, trying out a new crafting project, and experiencing Oregon's natural beauty with her partner and dog.
