Michele began her legal career in 1991 when working as a secretary for two sole practitioners. She quickly caught the legal bug and knew becoming a paralegal was her calling.
She earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies in 1994 from Western Business College, which was the first program to offer an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.
In 1998 she earned her Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants.
She was active in paralegal associations for 25 years and had many roles for the advancement of the paralegal profession.
Prior to coming to Lindsay Hart, LLP she was essential as a paralegal working with attorneys in the following practice areas: plaintiff & defense personal injury, plaintiff & defense construction defect, F.E.L.A (federal employers liability act), labor & employment litigation, domestic relations, workers’ compensation, subrogation/collection, asbestos defense litigation, estate planning, conservatorships & probate.
She joined Lindsay Hart LLP in 2019, and quickly became an essential partner to attorneys practicing in the following practice areas: commercial litigation, transportation litigation, medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, civil litigation defense, employment law and defense of a wide variety of professionals. She brings her skills to the firm’s wide variety of cases. She manages the discovery, organization, and analysis of medical records, conducts comprehensive fact and background investigations, assists through the discovery process, research possible expert witnesses for depositions, mediation and trial, research, reports and trial support.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the Pacific Northwest, loom and finger knitting, reading, and exploring any and all beaches as often as possible.
