Molly Silver

Molly’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, primarily the defense of healthcare professionals, medical malpractice and general litigation. Prior to joining Lindsay Hart, Molly was an associate attorney at Frohnmayer Deatherage where she managed a diverse caseload covering medical malpractice, employment disputes, civil rights litigation, personal injury, premises liability, and defense of public bodies. Molly has experience successfully defending lawsuits in state and federal courts, and is admitted to practice in the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court of Oregon, and Oregon State Courts.

Before pursuing her career in civil litigation, Molly served as a judicial clerk for Honorable Karsten H. Rasmussen, Presiding Judge of Lane County Circuit Court. Molly also worked as Judge Rasmussen’s research assistant before passing the bar, substantially contributing to his Oregon Practice and Procedure textbook, a four-hundred-page volume devoted to the nuances of Oregon civil procedure. She continues to contribute to future editions of the text. While attending the University of Oregon Law, Molly gained additional litigation experience by clerking for three different district attorneys’ offices—Deschutes County, Lane County, and Ada County (Idaho). In addition to her misdemeanor trial responsibilities, Molly worked on several press-sensitive sexual assault and homicide cases in Deschutes County, including aggravated murder. As a law student, she also worked as a course assistant to Honorable David Schuman and as a research assistant to former Attorney General Hardy Myers.

Outside the office, Molly stays active by exploring Oregon’s natural wonders with her dog, Miso.
