
Tyson Calvert is a partner at Lindsay Hart, LLP with more than 20 years of experience advising regional, national, and multinational companies across a range of industries. He serves as outside general counsel to clients in the healthcare, transportation, supply chain, and manufacturing sectors, providing strategic, business-oriented advice on both day-to-day operations and critical inflection points.
Tyson maintains a dual practice spanning transactional matters and commercial litigation, allowing him to deliver practical, end-to-end counsel tailored to each client’s needs. His work includes corporate governance, contract negotiation, risk management, dispute resolution, and operational strategy. He is frequently retained by stockholders and companies to handle equity and asset-based acquisitions and divestitures, bringing a practical, deal-focused perspective to complex transactions.
In the transportation and supply chain sector, Tyson represents clients across all modes of transportation and at every stage of the global supply chain. His clients include grain exporters, shippers, brokers (3PLs), motor carriers, and freight forwarders. He regularly advises on complex commercial disputes, cargo loss and damage claims, regulatory compliance, and risk allocation.
In healthcare, Tyson acts as outside general counsel to organizations across the continuum of care, including physician and nurse practitioner multi-disciplinary groups. He counsels clients through growth and expansion initiatives, provider alignment strategies, governance matters, and operational challenges, with a focus on aligning legal solutions with business objectives.
He is a member of the Transportation Lawyers Association, Conference of Freight Counsel, Pacific Northwest Grain and Feed Association, and the Oregon Trucking Association.
