Whitman Koch

Whit focuses his practice on professional liability defense. Whit’s practice includes medical malpractice, long term care facilities, legal malpractice, insurance defense and commercial litigation. 

Before joining Lindsay Hart, Whit clerked for the Hon. Charles M. Zennaché of the Lane County Circuit Court following his graduation from the University of Oregon School of Law. While in law school, he served as a Bowerman Fellow for the Native Environment Sovereignty Project and worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Eugene, Oregon.

Prior to moving to Oregon for law school, Whit attended American University in Washington, D.C. where he graduated with a degree in International Studies and a minor in History. After graduating, Whit worked as a paralegal for the Secretary and Financial Fraud Unit of the United States Department of Justice’s Fraud Section. Working in this position, inspired Whit to pursue a legal career focused litigation.

When he is not practicing law, Whit enjoys spending his time hiking all over the Pacific Northwest with his partner and dog.
