Portland, OR 97201

Alice joins the firm as its newest attorney, bringing a wealth of experience in appellate law.  Alice’s practice includes insurance defense, professional liability and commercial litigation.

Alice hails from the Rocky Mountains, but has made her home in Portland for the last 8 years.  She graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2005 with a degree in Comparative religious Studies, and then attended Michigan State University College of Law.

Upon graduation from law school, Alice clerked for the Hon. Timothy Sercombe on the Oregon Court of Appeals before becoming an Appellate Public Defender.  While practicing appellate law in Salem, Alice wrote and filed appellate briefs in the Oregon appellate courts, and argued over twenty times in the Oregon Court of Appeals and Oregon Supreme Court.  Before joining Lindsay Hart, Alice worked for a Portland firm doing creditor’s rights, insurance defense, and products liability, where she appeared in state and federal court and handled appeals in Oregon appellate courts and in the Ninth Circuit.

Alice serves on the Oregon Women Lawyers Transformation Committee, and is a member of the Oregon State Bar.  When not practicing law, Alice enjoys running Oregon’s trails, baking extravagant desserts, and volunteering with first and second graders.
